I'm very excited for Surlygirlie and Miz Clayton and their bigtime finish at the Disney Princess Half-marathon. Even though I didn't care for the tiara and pretty pinkishness of it all, and even though I didn't try to train for it, it has motivated me to know of their accomplishment. I ran outside at home in my neighborhood the past two times I've run, and it was a big deal for me to do that because of the hills (they are killer!). But last night I actually managed to run for almost 30 minutes without walking even though some of the hills were a bitch. It felt good.
I hope that now that Surly is such a super marathon diva she will still run with my slow ass sometimes.
I'm so happy for her and can't wait to see her and Tricia soon to congratulate them in person!

Congrats Stephanie! That's great!
And congrats again to Holly and Tricia. And let's also congratulate Lili (tho she's not on this blog yet...)! Lili entered and successfully completed -- and enjoyed! -- her first 5k!!
Ack! I am so slow to see this post! Stephanie, 30 minutes straight - ON HILLS, no less- is AWESOME! Congrats!
I am so, so happy at having completed the Princess. It was actually very life changing for me in ways I had not anticipated. I am still gathering my thoughts about that, but I should for sure start a race report soon.
